Tuscarawas County Library Offers Free Tech Classes This Fall
The Tuscarawas County Public Library System is gearing up to offer free technology classes this fall at its main library in New Philadelphia and Bolivar Branch. The workshops, designed for beginners and those looking to build new skills, will cover topics ranging from streaming services and Gmail to MakerSpace equipment and Microsoft Office programs.
According to Leigh Burnham, technology training coordinator, the upcoming programs provide a chance for people to get hands-on with technology in a fun and beginner-friendly way. The fall lineup begins on September 15 with 'Free Streaming with Library Apps' at 11 a.m., where attendees can learn about streaming services available through a library card.
The classes will cover digital tools, phone functions, computer basics, and MakerSpace equipment through hands-on sessions scheduled from September to November. Some of the specific topics include sublimation printing, Microsoft Office programs, and Cricut design software.
