UAE Healthcare Leader Ahmed Abo Al Fadl Drives Diabetes Screening and Patient Support Initiatives
Ahmed Abo Al Fadl has been making waves in the healthcare industry as the General Manager of Merck Serono Middle East. With a career spanning over two decades, he has led various initiatives to improve healthcare outcomes in the UAE and Kuwait.
In 2020, Abo Al Fadl took on his current role at Merck Serono, building on his experience since joining the company in 2002. Under his leadership, the UAE National Diabetes Prevention Programme expanded to screen half a million individuals by the end of 2025, in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Health & Prevention.
Abo Al Fadl's team also launched the Rawan Patient Support Programme, which reached 50 patients in the UAE and 28 in Kuwait by 2026. The programme has supported an additional 40 patients in Kuwait since its launch in 2023.
