Uber's Consistent Growth Strategy Sees Top-Line Growth Exceed 20%
Uber's Chief Executive Dara Khosrowshahi presented a steady-growth story at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference 2026, highlighting the company's consistent strategy over the past two to three years.
The company has achieved top-line growth of more than 20% for four straight quarters, with margins also improving. This is attributed to its diversified portfolio, which now spans mobility, food delivery, grocery, retail, and autonomous vehicle operations.
One key growth pillar mentioned by Khosrowshahi was the improvement of the on-demand category through better selection, quality, reliability, and pricing. Another major area of focus is expanding into sparse markets where penetration is much lower than in core cities.
The company's membership program, Uber One, has also played a significant role in its growth, with over 50 million members who account for about 50% of gross bookings. Members spend three times more than non-members and are twice as likely to use more than one Uber product.
