UK Air Travel Grounded by Tech Issues, Apple Unveils Foldable iPhone

Nearly 2,000 flights were cancelled in the UK due to a technical issue with NATS' flight processing system. The problem affected tens of thousands of passengers and caused widespread disruptions across the country.

The outage also impacted airports in Scotland and Ireland, with Ryanair reporting over 65,000 delayed passengers and 200 cancellations. Neal McMahon, Chief Operating Officer at Ryanair, stated that NATS' lack of a functioning backup system was to blame for the delays.

Meanwhile, Apple announced its first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, which will be available on October 23rd for $1,999. The device features a 50% larger screen than the iPhone 18 Pro Max and will run on iOS 27 with updated Siri AI features.
