UN Aviation Community Learns from Boeing Safety Expert
Lacey Pittman, Vice President of Global Aerospace Safety for Boeing and Chair of the Boeing Board Safety Committee, shared her expertise on aviation safety at a recent United Nations briefing.
The session brought together dozens of Aviation and Aviation Safety Officers from across the UN system to discuss lessons learned in maintaining a strong global safety culture.
Pittman emphasized that safety must be a shared responsibility embedded at every level of an organization, highlighting the importance of fostering a culture where personnel felt empowered to report concerns and learn from operational experience.
