United Airlines Flight Evacuated After Live Bullet Found On Board
A United Airlines flight from Denver to San Diego was evacuated after a live bullet was found on board. The Boeing 737-900 had already begun boarding when cabin crew discovered the stray bullet during routine preflight checks.
The crew announced the security breach and instructed passengers to disembark until the situation could be assessed by security services. The plane was temporarily grounded, but after a sweep of the fuselage, it was cleared for takeoff about an hour and a half late.
This incident marks the second similar case in recent months, with another United flight experiencing a security breach when a loaded magazine was found on board in February at Newark Liberty International Airport. The trend of loose ammunition or firearms being found on planes has raised concerns about airline safety.
