United Airlines is upgrading its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners with a new cabin design called United Elevated. The first routes to feature this redesign are between London and San Francisco, as well as London and Houston. Andrew Nocella, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer at United, said the airline aims to provide a more premium experience for passengers.

The redesigned cabins will feature eight Polaris Studio suites, which are 25% larger than standard United Polaris seats. These suites come with a privacy door, an additional ottoman seat for companions, wireless charging, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 27-inch 4K OLED seatback screen. The Polaris Studio suites are arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration across two sections.

The United Elevated interior also includes 56 United Polaris suites, which feature sliding privacy doors and larger 19-inch 4K OLED screens. All Business Class passengers will have all-aisle access and can choose between seats facing the window or center of the aircraft and suites facing the aisle.
