United Expands Newark Hub with 14 New Nonstop Routes
United Airlines is expanding its operations from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), adding 14 new nonstop routes by September 2027. The expansion includes flights to destinations in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, with some routes utilizing United's brand-new Airbus A321XLRs.
The airline will introduce services to Seoul Incheon on September 4, 2026, operating daily with a Boeing 787-9. Other new additions include Charlottesville, Knoxville, Omaha, Northwest Arkansas, St. Croix, Luxembourg, Ljubljana, Olbia, Catania, Ibiza, Valencia, and Marseille.
Some of these routes will be operated by partners, such as GoJet CRJ550s to Charlottesville, Knoxville, and Northwest Arkansas, while others will utilize Republic E175s or Airbus A321XLRs. United's expansion from Newark is part of the airline's broader network growth strategy.
