UnitedHealth Executives Shower Rep. Clark with Midterm Donations
UnitedHealth executives have made significant donations to Rep. Katherine Clark's campaign ahead of the midterms, according to federal records analyzed by STAT.
A total of over $100,000 was donated by more than 40 UnitedHealth officials and board members during the 2025-2026 election cycle, with CEO Stephen Hemsley and his wife Barbara leading the way. They each donated $7,000 to Clark's campaign fund.
Hemsley is worth almost $1 billion due to his stock ownership in UnitedHealth. Rep. Clark is the No. 2 Democrat in the House and recently won a primary race against two opponents.
