UnitedHealth Group Seeks Expedited Appeal of 401(k) Misallocation Ruling
UnitedHealth Group has asked a Minnesota federal court to allow an expedited appeal of its June decision that partially refused to toss allegations the company misallocated forfeitures from an employee 401(k) plan.
The insurance giant filed the motion in U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota on September 10, seeking permission to quickly appeal the ruling made by Judge Wilhelmina M. Wright in June.
The lawsuit alleges that UnitedHealth Group misallocated forfeitures from its employee 401(k) plan between 2013 and 2022, which could result in significant financial losses for affected employees.
