UnitedHealth Group Stock Stabilizes Near Highs After Q2 Earnings Beat
UnitedHealth Group's stock has stabilized near recent highs following its impressive Q2 2026 earnings beat and upgraded full-year guidance. The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $6.38, significantly surpassing analyst estimates of $4.86 for the quarter.
The insurer also increased its revenue to $112.03 billion, exceeding Wall Street expectations by more than $1 billion. Net income reached $5.48 billion, or $6.04 per share, a substantial increase from $3.41 billion in the same period last year.
UnitedHealth Group raised its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to $19.50-$20.00 per share, up from an earlier outlook of over $18.25 per share. The company maintained its revenue guidance of more than $439 billion for 2026.
The stock's price action has been mixed since the Q2 results were released, initially surging to a 52-week high of $461.62 but then retracing those gains to trade around $392.95 by August 28, 2026.
