Unlock Custom Vibration Patterns on Any Android Device
A new feature on Google's Pixel 11 series allows users to select from distinctive vibration patterns for different types of alerts. This option is buried deep within the devices' settings, and it varies not only in pattern but also in intensity and duration.
However, this feature is currently only available on the Pixel 11 models, and it's unclear when or if it will be rolled out to other Android devices. Fortunately, a third-party app called BuzzKill makes it possible for any Android user to bring this capability to their device.
BuzzKill allows users to create custom vibration patterns based on specific notification conditions. For example, users can set up a rule that vibrates differently for messages from their boss versus those from friends. The app offers a range of customization options, including intensity and duration, allowing users to create unique patterns tailored to their needs.
