Uptrends Stall: YETI, BKNG, MMM Technical Charts Signal Next Big Move
The technical charts of three stocks - YETI Holdings (YETI), Booking Holdings (BKNG), and MMM (MMM) - suggest a possible next big move. YETI has been in an uptrend since April, but it's currently testing support at its 50-day moving average after stalling following its post-earnings bump.
A Golden Cross formed when the stock crossed above both its 200-day and 50-day moving averages, supported by a bullish move in the Relative Strength Index (RSI). The stock has two upcoming catalysts: an upgrade from Goldman Sachs analyst Brooke Roach on July 20 and Q2 2026 earnings on August 13.
Booking Holdings' technical charts also indicated a possible reversal before its Q2 2026 earnings report. The company's shares reclaimed their 50-day and 200-day moving averages in the weeks leading up to the report, backed by a MACD indicator crossover into bullish territory. When the Q2 numbers were released on August 4, they exceeded both guidance and analyst consensus.
Multinational conglomerate MMM has been experiencing a revival since bottoming out in 2024. A Golden Cross formed at the end of July, cementing a new uptrend with the share price above both moving averages. The company's Q2 2026 numbers smashed expectations, and management raised full-year revenue and EPS guidance.
