Upwind Soars to $3.8B Valuation After Record-Breaking Funding Round
Israeli cloud security company Upwind has secured $300 million in funding at a valuation of approximately $3.8 billion, more than doubling its valuation in just five months.
The latest round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners and TCV, with other prominent investors such as Craft Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, Greylock, Gili Raanan's Cyberstarts, Leaders Fund, and Alta Park Capital participating.
This is the second major funding round for Upwind this year, following a $250 million Series B in January at a valuation of $1.5 billion.
The company has expanded its focus to artificial intelligence systems, working with Nvidia on security research that showed its technology could detect malicious prompts targeting large language models with about 95% precision while maintaining real-time performance.
