US Approves $5 Billion Arms Deal for Saudi Arabia
The U.S. State Department has given its approval for a potential $5 billion sale of Joint Direct Attack Munitions-Extend Range to Saudi Arabia.
The principal contractor for this sale is Boeing, according to the State Department.
This deal also includes the possible sale of AGT-1500 engines to Saudi Arabia, which would be worth an estimated $750 million. Honeywell is named as the principal contractor for the engine sale.
