US Approves $5 Billion JDAM-ER Sale to Saudi Arabia
The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of Joint Direct Attack Munitions-Extend Range (JDAM-ER) to Saudi Arabia for an estimated $5 billion.
The principal contractor for this deal is Boeing, according to the State Department.
This approval comes alongside another potential sale worth an estimated $750 million: 24 AGT-1500 engines to Saudi Arabia, with Honeywell as the principal contractor.
