US Approves $5B Arms Sale to Saudi Arabia Amid Global Military Tensions
The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of Joint Direct Attack Munitions-Extend Range to Saudi Arabia for an estimated $5 billion.
The principal contractor for this deal is Boeing, which would be responsible for delivering the military equipment.
In addition to the J-DAMs, the U.S. State Department has also approved a possible sale of AGT-1500 engines to Saudi Arabia for an estimated $750 million.
The principal contractor for this part of the deal is Honeywell.
