US Approves Sale of JDAM-ER and Engines to Saudi Arabia for $5.75 Billion
The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of Joint Direct Attack Munitions-Extend Range (JDAM-ER) to Saudi Arabia for an estimated $5 billion.
The principal contractor for this deal is Boeing, according to the State Department.
In addition to the JDAM-ER, the U.S. has also approved a possible sale of AGT-1500 engines to Saudi Arabia for an estimated $750 million.
Honeywell will serve as the principal contractor for this part of the deal.
