US Army Selects Lockheed and Boeing-Anduril for Next IFPC Interceptor Prototype
The US Army has selected Lockheed Martin and the Boeing-Anduril team to move forward in the development of a second interceptor prototype for the Indirect Fire Protection Capability Increment 2 program.
This is the next phase of a competitive process, where proposals from two teams will be advanced to the development demonstration stage.
The IFPC Increment 2 program aims to fill the gap between short-range air defense systems and longer-range capabilities, including Patriot and Terminal High Altitude Area Defense.
