US Green Building Council Names New CMO Amid Industry Moves
The US Green Building Council has named David Purcell as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). As CMO, Purcell will lead the organization's marketing and communications efforts to expand the reach of its ideas and innovations. He will also oversee the acceleration of adoption of its products and services, strengthen its brand, and position it for continued growth and global impact.
Purcell has a wealth of experience in senior marketing roles at top companies, including UnitedHealth Group, Visa, Charles Schwab, BlackRock, and American Express. He previously founded Purcell Strategies, which advised growth-stage and enterprise clients across various sectors.
In related news, Capital V Strategies has launched a new Transactions & IPO Communications division led by Andy Dueñas. Dueñas brings a mix of public and private company experience to his new role, having held senior positions at Walgreen's and JPMorgan Chase. He will oversee the new division as it advises public and private companies across various industries.
Haven Tower Group has also appointed Stephen Langlois to its board of advisors. Langlois is currently managing principal of Seaport Consulting Partners, having previously held senior positions at Fidelity Institutional and Fidelity Wealth Technologies.
