The lawsuit claims that the AI's results substitute for the original works of the news publishers, diverting users from visiting the websites where the content was created.
According to the filing, Microsoft's lead counsel stated that the advantage of using such AI chatbots is that they 'are actually designed to answer your question' rather than providing links to search for information elsewhere.
