US Stock Futures Fall Amid Rising Iran Tensions
US stock futures fell on Monday following President Donald Trump's rejection of extending a temporary ceasefire with Iran, which has heightened geopolitical tensions and concerns over energy supplies. The Dow Jones, S&P 500, and Nasdaq 100 indices declined in premarket trading, as Brent Crude futures traded above $91 per barrel.
The 10-year Treasury bond yielded 4.74%, while the two-year bond was at 4.19%. Markets are pricing a 36.6% likelihood of the Federal Reserve hiking interest rates during its September meeting, according to CME Group's FedWatch tool projections.
Flexsteel Industries Inc. (FLXS) and Duos Technologies Group Inc. (DUOT) rose after reporting better-than-expected financial results. Home Depot Inc. (HD) is set to report earnings before the opening bell, with analysts expecting $4.73 per share on revenue of $47.27 billion.
