US Stock Market Mixed as S&P 500 Rises and Dow Falls

The US stock market is experiencing a mixed performance today. The S&P 500 index rose by 0.09% to $7,718.60. In contrast, the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined by 0.27% to $53,414.25.

Among individual stocks, NVIDIA surged by 5.89% to $230.36, while Microsoft fell by 2.69% to $499.70. Meta Platforms rose by 6.70% to $616.77.

The US economy is also showing signs of growth, with a GDP of 30.77 trillion USD and a full-year GDP growth rate of 2.1%. However, inflation remains a concern, with a core CPI of 2.2% in July.
