US Stocks Slide Amid Sector-Wide Declines, Honeywell Leads Gains
The US stock market saw losses on Wednesday, led by declines in the Dow Jones Health Care, Consumer Services, and Consumer Goods sectors.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.21% at close of trade, while the S&P 500 lost 0.02%, and the NASDAQ Composite dropped 0.08%.
Honeywell International Inc led gains on the Dow Jones with a 2.31% increase, followed by Caterpillar Inc's 1.31% rise and Apple Inc's 1.15% gain.
