US Stocks Soar as Dow Jumps Over 700 Points Amid Cloud Provider Surge
US stocks surged on Thursday as the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped over 700 points, while Amazon's market capitalization surpassed $3 trillion.
The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 2.13% to 25,913.90 points, marking its third consecutive day of growth.
Clinching the top spot on Thursday was cloud provider Amazon (AMZN), which rose 4.58% to close at $294.02. Its AWS revenue grew by 37%, exceeding market expectations.
Other tech giants also fared well, with Meta Platforms (META) rising 6.02% and Microsoft (MSFT) increasing 4.93%. SpaceX (SPCX) surged late in the day, closing up 5.68% at $114.53.
