US Stocks Tumble Amid Sector-Wide Losses
US shares closed lower on Tuesday, driven by losses in key sectors.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.22%, while the S&P 500 and NASDAQ Composite indices declined by 0.69% and 1.33% respectively.
Johnson & Johnson led gains with a 3.33% rise to $271.11, followed by Salesforce Inc's 2.71% increase to $196.14 and Nike Inc's 2.48% gain to $40.06.
Caterpillar Inc was the biggest loser, plummeting 4.58% to $841.23, while NVIDIA Corporation declined 2.34% to $219.74 and Sherwin-Williams Co dropped 1.35% to $345.26.
