The United States is strengthening its ties with Indonesia through the development of Nusantara, the country's new capital. US tech giants Cisco, IBM, and Google have joined forces to support the creation of a digitally driven, people-centered city.

Andrew Billard, Counselor for Commercial Affairs at the US Embassy in Jakarta, emphasized the importance of long-term partnerships between US companies and Indonesian stakeholders. He noted that US businesses could play a significant role in supporting IKN's development through technology and talent development.

Cisco, IBM, and Google have offered their expertise in smart city solutions to Nusantara's developers. The companies have also provided technical training for participants on data science, strategic planning, and AI-driven data governance for smart cities. This collaboration aims to strengthen Indonesia's competitiveness and develop local talent.
