Uzbekistan Opens Doors to Indian Travelers with Visa-Free Entry
Uzbekistan has announced a new visa-free entry policy for Indian citizens, allowing them to stay in the country for up to 30 days without applying for a visa.
This move is expected to make it easier for Indians to visit Uzbekistan and explore its historic cities, try local food, and enjoy the country's landscapes at a relaxed pace.
The policy will permit Indian passport holders to visit Uzbekistan for holidays, family visits, short business trips, cultural tours, and Silk Road itineraries without needing a tourist visa or e-visa.
However, travelers should wait for the official rules and start date before making non-refundable bookings, as they may need to check certain travel requirements such as passport validity, purpose of travel, maximum stay permitted, return or onward ticket rules, hotel booking or local registration requirements, and travel insurance requirements.
Uzbekistan offers a mix of history, culture, food, and beautiful architecture, with popular destinations including Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Fergana Valley.
