Uzbekistan Seeks Wall Street Expertise on Reserves Management

The Uzbek Central Bank is looking to tap into international expertise on managing its reserves. According to Governor Timur Ishmetov, a roundtable will be held in mid-September with representatives from major firms including Goldman Sachs Group Inc., BlackRock Inc., and JPMorgan Chase & Co.

The purpose of the meeting is to explore potential investment avenues for Uzbekistan's reserves. Ishmetov mentioned that the central bank wants to hear ideas from these top international money managers on how to best utilize its assets.
