V.M. Manning & CO. Inc., an institutional investor, has acquired a new position in International Business Machines Corporation (NYSE:IBM) during the second quarter.
The purchase of 2,598 shares valued at approximately $731,000 makes IBM its 28th biggest holding in V.M. Manning & CO.'s investment portfolio, which is about 0.6% of the company's total holdings.
This acquisition is not an isolated event; other large investors have also recently bought and sold shares of IBM. For instance, VIRGINIA RETIREMENT SYSTEMS ET Al increased its stake in IBM by a whopping 424.6% in the fourth quarter.
