Vahle Celebrates Colleague's Legacy on Final Day at Disney
As Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle prepares to leave his role after 36 years, he celebrated one of his colleagues in a special way. The company's president hosted a Main Street Window Ceremony on July 31st, which is also his last day as leader of the resort.
The ceremony was for Maribeth Bisienere, who recently retired from her position as Senior Vice President of Operations after almost 31 years with the Walt Disney Company. Her name will be displayed on a window along Main Street U.S.A., which serves as a tribute to those who have made significant contributions to the resort.
The windows are created to honor real Disney employees, Imagineers, executives, artists, and other key contributors. Each inscription includes inside jokes, references to their career, or nods to attractions or entertainment they helped create.
