Venezuela Inks Multi-Billion Dollar Oil Deals with Chevron and Eni
The Venezuelan government signed new agreements with several major oil companies on Wednesday, expanding their operations in the country. The deals include Chevron and Eni, which will operate several blocks under an increased stake in the fields.
GE Vernova also signed a contract to repair a large portion of Venezuela's power grid, which has been struggling with outages and instability.
The agreements were signed in the presence of US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, who stated that they will create many jobs and bring prosperity to the country.
Venezuela's acting President Delcy Rodríguez thanked President Donald Trump for his administration's efforts to achieve these 'win-win' agreements.
