Venmo Joins Google Play Payment Options in US, UK, and Europe
Google has integrated Venmo as a payment option in its Play store, allowing users to purchase apps, subscriptions, and in-app content using their Venmo balance or linked cards and bank accounts. This move follows Google's recent settlement with Epic Games, which opened the Play store to outside billing in the US, UK, and Europe.
To use Venmo for purchases on the Play store, users must set it up and link their account. They can do this by going to payment methods in the Google Play app. Once linked, users will be able to use Venmo across Google's services, including YouTube.
