Verizon has announced a significant partnership with Google Cloud to revamp its AI capabilities and customer experience. The move will see Gemini Enterprise, a full-stack AI and data platform, integrated deep into Verizon's systems. This is part of Verizon's ongoing effort to overhaul its business, led by CEO Dan Schulman.

The collaboration between the two companies will focus on three key areas: revitalizing customer experiences with Gemini for automated issue resolution, predicting and solving network anomalies using Google Cloud's data platform, and enhancing the marketing department with new platforms and automation tools.

Gemini Enterprise will be used across the organization for agent orchestration and employee productivity. However, a recent Survey Monkey report found that 82% of consumers prefer human support over AI, which may impact how subscribers react to this change.
