Vermont Trust Buys $81 Million Stake in Amazon

Trust Co. of Vermont has acquired a new stake in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), purchasing 341,911 shares valued at approximately $81,491,000 during the second quarter.

This adds to Amazon's presence in Trust Co.'s portfolio, which now accounts for about 3.0% of its holdings, making it the company's fifth-largest holding.

Amazon.com is not alone in gaining institutional investor attention; other firms have also been increasing their stakes or acquiring new positions in the e-commerce giant.
