Veteran Calgary Cop Admits Stealing $21K from Home Depots

A veteran Calgary police officer has admitted to stealing over $21,000 worth of items from Home Depot stores across the city. Const. Bradley Tepper, a 20-year member of the force, pleaded guilty to theft over $5,000 after investigations revealed he committed 'double walk-out thefts' at five different locations.

The scam involved buying a tool, storing it in his car, and then immediately returning to the store to steal a second, identical item. When stopped by sales associates, Tepper would show the receipt from the legal purchase, allowing him to keep the stolen items.

Tepper's actions were discovered after a complaint about 'fraudulent activity and multiple thefts' was made in August 2025. The Calgary Police Service has suspended Tepper without pay pending a sentencing hearing, expected later this year.
