Veteran Entrepreneur Charles Wilsey Leaves Lasting Legacy
Charles Wilsey, a veteran and entrepreneur from Fremont, Indiana, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love for his family, pets, and community. Born on March 14, 1945, in Angola, Indiana, Chuck grew up to serve in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
After serving overseas, he returned home and started a successful career as a bakery salesman at Holsum Bakery in Angola. He later co-owned the Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast with his wife in Fremont, showcasing their hospitality skills. In retirement, Chuck worked part-time at Village Foods and Home Depot.
A lifelong sports fan, Chuck was particularly fond of the Detroit Tigers and IU Basketball. His love for family and pets was only matched by his dedication to the community, evident through his support for local causes.
