Vietnam Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Munich

A Vietnam Airlines flight from Munich to Hanoi made an emergency landing on August 15 due to a technical issue. The Boeing 787-9 aircraft took off but returned shortly after takeoff, following standard procedures. All passengers and crew members were safe and escorted into the terminal.

The airline is working with authorities to determine the cause of the incident. Inspections are ongoing, and alternative travel arrangements are being made for affected passengers.

According to reports, the aircraft experienced a 'late rotation, tailstrike and runway overrun', causing tyre damage and smoke on contact with the runway.
