Vietnam Airlines Plane Returns to Munich After Overshooting Runway
A Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787 experienced technical difficulties during takeoff from Munich Airport on Saturday.
The aircraft overshot the runway and had to circle above it for over two hours, trying to burn fuel before returning to the airport.
According to a statement by the airline, 'the passengers and cabin crew members are safe.'
After landing, the plane was unable to taxi under its own power and stayed stranded at the airport.
