Vietnam Airlines Plane Stranded at Munich After Technical Issues
A Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787 plane experienced technical difficulties during takeoff from Munich Airport on Saturday.
The aircraft overshot the runway and had to circle back for over two hours, burning fuel before attempting a second landing.
After landing safely, the plane was unable to taxi under its own power and remained stranded at the airport.
The north runway was closed temporarily while traffic was rerouted to the south runway due to the incident.
