Vietnam Seeks Deeper Business Ties with US Companies
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang recently met with U.S. businesses and financial institutions during a working trip to the United States, reaffirming Vietnam's commitment to its Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with the U.S.
The meeting included representatives from companies such as Visa, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Qualcomm, Caterpillar, and Atlas Air, among others.
Thang emphasized that Vietnam will continue prioritizing macroeconomic stability, institutional reform, and a transparent legal framework for foreign investors to operate in the country.
He encouraged U.S. businesses to expand investment in high-tech projects, strengthen knowledge transfer, and support innovation ecosystems, while also creating conditions for Vietnamese businesses to participate more deeply in global value chains.
