Visa and ONDC Team Up for Seamless Tourism Discovery Experience

Visa and Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) have announced their intent to collaborate on making India's tourism offerings easier to discover. The announcement was made at the Global Fintech Festival 2026, with the goal of creating a more seamless and accessible tourism discovery experience.

The proposed collaboration will bring together Visa's digital commerce and discovery capabilities with ONDC's open network infrastructure. This will enable the creation of a single platform where travellers can discover experiences, cities, travel itineraries, and small and medium businesses in one place, as per Suresh Sethi, Group Country Manager, India & South Asia, Visa.

ONDC has facilitated over 500 million lifetime transactions across sectors, including retail, financial services, logistics, and tourism. The company is looking to strengthen demand-side participation in the tourism sector with the help of this collaboration.
