The company reported a strong US spending growth rate of 10% in the latest quarter, with value-added services contributing 34% to net revenue, up from 30%. McInerney emphasized that Visa is still growing steadily in payments while pushing into adjacent services.

McInerney mentioned that Visa is building trust tools for agentic commerce, stablecoin infrastructure, and cybersecurity products to widen its role beyond card payments. The company has made significant gains in artificial intelligence, with 80% more code commits and 65% faster feature development. Visa is also investing locally in Europe and other markets while using efficiency gains to fund growth.
Visa's acquisition of Pismo and planned purchase of BioCatch are part of a wider effort to deepen client relationships and expand into adjacent services. The company has also announced a win for consumer DDA processing with Wells Fargo.
