Visa Partners with Ant International and Mastercard to Streamline AI-Powered Transactions
Visa has partnered with Ant International and Mastercard to develop a Know-Your-Agent (KYA) framework, aimed at streamlining agent identification and onboarding across card networks, digital wallets, agent platforms, and marketplaces.
The initiative will allow each network to retain its own verification and risk controls while creating common trust signals for AI agents that execute transactions on behalf of consumers.
The collaboration builds on Visa's Trusted Agent Protocol, Mastercard's Verifiable Intent, and Ant International's Agentic Mobile Protocol.
Visa's stock has risen 18.9% over the past six months compared to the industry's 1.1% growth, with a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 24.70, well above the industry average of 17.72.
