Visa Sees 15-Fold Rise in Stablecoin Settlement Volume to $20B Annualized Rate
Visa's stablecoin settlement volume reached a $20 billion annualized rate in its fiscal second quarter of 2026, up from just $3.5 billion at the end of last year.
This represents a 15-fold increase compared to the same period in 2025 and marks one of the fastest-growing segments in Visa's portfolio.
The growth is largely driven by the increasing adoption of stablecoin-linked cards, with more than 160 programs now live on Visa's network globally.
Visa handles the conversion and settlement layer between consumers holding stablecoins and merchants receiving fiat currency.
