Visa Shareholder Base Undergoes Significant Changes Amid Strong Stock Price
Visa Inc. has reported significant changes in its shareholder base, particularly among institutional investors and hedge funds. The credit-card processor's stock price remains strong, with shares trading up 0.4% on Friday.
Mirabaud & Cie SA, a Swiss bank, cut its holdings in Visa by 53.7% in the second quarter, selling 10,912 shares and decreasing its stake from 9,391 shares to approximately $3,222,000 in value. This represents about 1.3% of Mirabaud & Cie's total holdings.
Other hedge funds have also adjusted their positions in Visa, including Clayton Financial Group LLC, which increased its holding by 446.2%, and PayPay Securities Corp, which boosted its stake by 102.7%. Parvin Asset Management LLC acquired a new position in the company, while RHL Group LLC purchased another.
Visa's stock has been trading well, with Wall Street analysts predicting continued growth. The company's Board of Directors recently approved a $20 billion stock repurchase program, signaling confidence in its shares' value.
