Visa Stock at 52-Week High After Strong Q3 Earnings and $2.4 Billion BioCatch Acquisition
Visa Inc.'s stock price has been steadily rising and is now near its 52-week high. The company recently beat expectations in its Q3 earnings report, with net revenue up 14.36% year-over-year to $11.633 billion. Adjusted EPS was also above consensus at $3.32.
The growth was driven by value-added services, which saw a 34% increase in constant dollars to $3.8 billion and now make up close to a third of total revenue. CFO Chris Suh stated that all four VAS portfolios have individually grown faster over the past twelve months than the rates Visa disclosed at its February 2025 Investor Day.
Visa's acquisition of BioCatch, a behavioral-fraud intelligence firm, for $2.4 billion in cash is also seen as a growth investment. The company expects to close the deal in fiscal Q2 2027 and will use it to improve its security features.
