Visa Stock Lags Dow Amid Strong Consumer Spending
Visa Inc., a global payments technology company, has seen its stock dip over 1% from its 52-week high of $385.57. Despite this, shares of Visa have increased 17.4% over the past three months, outperforming the Dow Jones Industrials Average's ($DOWI) 5.7% rise.
The company has a market cap of $680.9 billion and serves financial institutions, merchants, governments, and consumers through its secure processing network, VisaNet. Its stock price has risen 8.8% on a YTD basis, underperforming DOWI's 11.4% gain.
Visa's Q3 2026 results showed adjusted EPS of $3.32 and net revenue rose 14% to $11.63 billion, ahead of estimates. Analysts remain bullish about its prospects, with a consensus rating of 'Strong Buy' from 40 analysts' coverage and a mean price target of $418.72, a premium of 9.7% to current levels.
