Visakhapatnam Emerges as Global Hub with IBM's FutureNow Center Launch
Andhra Pradesh's IT Minister Nara Lokesh inaugurated IBM Consulting's FutureNow Center in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, marking a significant milestone for the region's emergence as a global hub for artificial intelligence and digital services.
The center will support the delivery of consulting and technology services to global clients, leveraging capabilities such as AI, hybrid cloud, software engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation.
IBM Consulting now operates FutureNow Centers from 15 locations across India, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Mysore, Noida, Pune, and Visakhapatnam.
Minister Lokesh emphasized the government's vision to create a complete ecosystem for high-quality employment, future-ready talent, and global digital participation. He highlighted IBM's commitment to building capabilities that enable clients to accelerate AI adoption and emerging technologies.
