Vunicagi Prepares for National Debut at Coke Games

Rugby player Joshua Vunicagi is making his national athletics debut at the Coca-Cola Games, which start tomorrow. The 19-year-old Beqa native will compete in the 100 and 200 meter events for Savusavu Secondary School.

Vunicagi has never run on the track before, unlike the athletes from Suva who train there daily. His only experience was at the Marist 7s tournament over a month ago.

'It's going to be quite tough for me because I've never ran on this tracks before,' Vunicagi said.
